Faster than Sound was a strange music event. The venue was RAF Bentwaters, an old USAF coldwar airfield. The site still contained props from the Channel Four hoax program Space Cadets.

The music was fantastic and the artwork pretty interesting. Shame that the organisers had been unable to sell more tickets. One performer said that they were hoping for 1000 guests, but only 200 had bought tickets.

Highlights of the evening were Goodiepal (picture above linked from last.fm), Luke Vibert, Mira Calix, and Max Tundra. U.E.A Electroacoustic Studios took along some good stuff, such as runway of speakers that changed sound as you walked along it. A few good links are collected here.
